Giny Grass - General Manager
Giny started the company in 1999. Giny spends almost as much time in the auckland office as she does in the Australia office. Giny is the brains behind the business and works hard to ensure the success of the company. with a strong background in real estate, she works as both a software developer and backs up the support desk. following the brand's success in New Zealand over the last 22 years, Giny launched it in Australia in 2002 and continues to build the product offering in both countries.
Damon Dunlop - Development Manager
Damon started with Giny in 2002 just before the launch in Australia as software developer; he is now the Development Manager for Realoz and Real NZ and Director of Realoz Developments. he previously worked for another real estate software supplier as a software developer and has 12 years’ experience in Real Estate Software. prior to that Damon was in IT for a couple of years doing various assignments and studied full time to retrain as a Software Developer from his life as a Chef travelling the world. Damon has also been involved in the Holiday Accommodation industry in New Zealand and the UK. Damon has 2 boys 11 and 7 that keep him busy outside work.
Brett Lake - Sales & Training Executive
Brett came to us from Harveys and has 10 years of real estate experience in sales, property management and administration. he now provides most of our sales and training services for both new and existing customers. Brett specialises in listings, sales, trust accounting, payroll, property management general ledger and general GL balancing items. in his spare time he likes to play tennis and mentors for Big Buddy, an organisation for fatherless children. Brett is based in the Auckland office but travels frequently to Australia. Call Brett today for all of your sales or training needs.
Lucas James - Web Developer / Systems Administrator
Lucas joined the company in august of 2003 as a tech support officer and system admin for the company. he took over the .NET developer role in 2007 and continues to grow our online product offering. Lucas has over 14 years experience in the IT industry, 8 of which in customer facing support roles. if Lucas were ever to get spare time, he would spend it outdoors camping, or in the garden. Lucas is based in the australian office.
Donna Bryan-Rihari - Technical Support Officer
Donna started out in the new zealand office in 2000 and worked as a support officer. Donna took over the tech support role when beth went on maternity leave in 2009 and in 2010 moved her entire family to to australia to continue the position full time supporting both client bases.
Beth Alford - Technical Support Officer
Beth joined the company in 2004 as the receptionist and quickly took over most of the day to day running of the support desk and worked as a support officer for the next 6 months handling general support enquiries. after 8 months away working as a jillaroo on a cattle farm with her husband Burke, Beth returned to the business as the new tech support officer. in 2009 beth went on maternity leave and now works part time in her tech support role, mainly in provisioning and installation. Beth is based in the australian office.
Chris Mitchell - Technical Support and Testing
Chris has a strong background in web and application development and has worked for many years in various tech support roles. We welcome Chris as the most recent addition to our team. Chris can be found most days on the tech support desk but is also the lead handheld developer working on our line of iPhone/iPad and Android apps. Chris is based in the Australian office.
Cherie Lever - Support Officer
Cherie has been working in the Property Management industry for the past eleven years.
Her first role began in 2000 as an Administrator, which provided Cherie with an insight into the world of property management. This led to the position of Letting Agent and new business, which she enjoyed immensely.
In 2004 Cherie travelled to London, where she accepted a position as a Property Manager, responsible for her first portfolio of properties in Surrey, England. She specialised in property management for the professional and corporate markets, with the majority of our tenants relocating from abroad. The properties were predominantly large family homes demanding constant attention, maintenance and refurbishment which provided valuable experience in co-ordinating and overseeing major renovations.
Upon returning to Auckland, Cherie accepted the challenge of establishing and building a Property Management Division within the Auckland CBD apartment market. This included implementing systems and procedures, securing new business, attracting quality tenants, creating documents, property condition reports and routine inspections, Trust Accounting and everything else in between.
Being an Investor herself owning multiple properties; Cherie understands first hand, the stresses owners are subjected to on a daily basis.
Cherie strongly believes every property deserves to be managed proactively, ensuring the best possible result is achieved every time. Efficient and effective management on a daily basis may well be the difference between your investment property providing you with your desired lifestyle or not.
Possessing a passion for property, impeccable communication skills, knowledge and experience in both the Auckland and London property markets, Cherie joined the team at RealNz in 2008 to work on the other side of Property Management.

Glenys Patterson - Support Officer
Glenys comes to us from her worke in a bureau role supporting realnz for various Harcourts offices. Glenys was with Harcourts for 15 years before joining us in October 2010. Glenys has 2 adult children and is a sports fanatic who still loves to compete.
Amy Patterson - Admin Officer
Amy joins us from her recent role working with The Registrar Of Electors help desk and fills the role of admin officer while looking after reception in the Auckland office. In her spare time, Amy loves to paint for hours on end and is a keen sports fan.
Sue Dunlop - Admin Officer
Sue handles much of the internal ordering and procedural duties for both countries. Sue has worked with us since her husband Damon joined us in 2002 and has spent much of that time raising their 2 sons.
